Nestled among cypress, live oak, and pecan trees, the camp is a fixture in the Texas Hill Country. The flooding followed a burst of severe weather across Central Texas. Several inches of rain fell as thunderstorms swept through the region. The impact was intensified by what meteorologists\u00a0describe<\/a>\u00a0as a “flood wave.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
