After taking the dog home, she noticed behaviours and mannerisms that reminded her of her childhood pet. Curious, she decided to check the microchip records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To her shock and tears, the microchip confirmed it was indeed her dog from childhood, who had been missing for nearly a decade. The dog, now much older, had been through unknown journeys before ending up in the shelter where their paths crossed once more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Holding an old photograph of herself as a little girl hugging the same dog, she shared that this reunion felt like a miracle. \u201cI felt like I was getting a piece of my childhood back,\u201d she said. \u201cI lost him when I was young, and I never thought I\u2019d see him again.
